This is the home of a biomechanical project.

The aims of the project are

• to develop methods for analysis of movement strategies and tendon, muscle and joint forces in humans performing specific manual tasks
• to investigate what numerical simulation can teach us about the function of the human body
• to use the analysis for ergonomic optimization of tools, workplaces and man/machine interfaces.

Software

This project is the origin of the AnyBody Modeling System, a unique software for musculoskeletal analysis.

Development and distribution of this software is handled by AnyBody Technology.
